Courses are based in the History of Economic Thought and focus on the professor’s impact on the practice of management and management theory. THE College SCHOLAR The research activities of one or more scholars will be supported to further the professor’s integrative, interdisciplinary approach to writing and teaching. “For nearly half a century the professor has inspired and educated managers-and influenced the nature of business-with his landmark articles in the Harvard Business Review. One of this century’s most highly regarded students of management, the college has sought out, identified and examined the most important issues confronting managers, from corporate strategy to management style to social change. This body of work will serve students, managers, scholars, and researchers for generations to come as the works and thoughts of the professor continue to ripple through our intellectual community. MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Archive is to preserve the profound intellectual legacy of the professor and to manage that legacy to the benefit of the scholarly community, the institution and the practice of management as a whole.
